The SCSC committee of the SDB Women’s Board is pleased to announce that the training director for the 2016 SCSC program will be Pastor Andrew Camenga. Having served as an SCSC student and an SCSC staff member for the last eight years, his experience will be invaluable as we seek to refine our focus on leadership development. Andrew is completing 15 years of service as the Executive Director of the Board of Christian Education and will begin serving as pastor of the German Seventh Day Baptist Church in Salemville, PA, in July 2015.  Andrew will begin his duties as SCSC training director after Conference 2015 as he takes on pre-training responsibilities.

The SCSC committee is grateful for the five years of faithful service as training director provided by Jane Mackintosh. The training director works to make sure that our SCSC leadership development program focuses on building leadership skills and encouraging spiritual growth. During Jane’s tenure, she worked with the SCSC committee to incorporate into training both the Stained Glass and Mission track programs.  Her mission experience in Jamaica and her involvement in earlier Stained Glass training was valuable in helping to incorporate these new programs.  We thank Jane for the leadership she has provided in directing SCSC training.
