Clayton Pinder, former SDB Conference President, passed away at his home in DeLand, Florida on December 9. He was 84.

Clayton Pinder copyClayton presided over the 2001 Conference held in Lindsborg, Kansas, with the theme, “Try God.” For many years while living in Salem, W.Va., Clayton served as pastor of the Crites Mountain SDB Church. As a CPA, he also served faithfully as church and camp treasurer, financial auditor of the Conference books, and as a member and past chairman of COSAR (Committee on Support and Retirement).

Clayton Pinder leaves behind his wife Leora, son Edward, and daughters Carol, Susan and Lisa. We pray for the extended family and are thankful for this special willing servant of the Lord.
