These men have agreed to participate in a project that goes beyond General Conference Sessions 2016 at Houghton College. Their research is called, The “Jesus of” Project. Each pastor has agreed to study a particular area concerning “Jesus of”. Each will develop a not more than 25 page scholarly work which will be compiled in a book form. Each of the scholars will make a 25 minute presentation at Conference Session 2016 to share what they have learned from their research

Please keep these men in your prayers as they do their research.  Please send them a note encouraging their research. Please be open to insights found through the research.  Please plan on attending the presentation.  Please ask for the compilation of the papers.

The Rev. Andrew Camenga will be presenting Jesus of the Synoptics on Tuesday, August 2, 2016.  Pastor Andrew brings to this project the following academic credentials: Master of Divinity from Eastern Mennonite Seminary, Harrisonburg, VA and Bachelor of Science in Physics and Math from Houghton, College, Houghton, NY.

The Rev. John Pethtel will be presenting Jesus of the Gospel of John on Wednesday, August 3, 2016.
