Christian Education
It is the mission of the Christian Education Council to equip ambassadors to represent Christ’s Kingdom.

There are two main parts of the Council’s work toward this mission.
First, the CEC promotes fully-orbed discipleship in all of the churches of our Conference. Fully formed disciples are those who follow after Jesus Christ and increasingly are transformed and empowered by the Holy Spirit to do what Jesus did, including maintaining a public witness to our Lord.
Second, the CEC facilitates the work of Christian education among SDBs in the United States & Canada from our children to the graduate-level work of our pastors and leaders. The majority of adult ministry education now comes through Seventh Day Baptist University, an initiative to deliver training in our churches.
